How To: Recline your Electric Wheelchair

Follow this guide to remotely recline your electric wheelchair! You can remotely recline your electric wheelchair using your remote control for your powered wheelchair. The instructions below demonstrate how to automatically recline the Freedom Pro and Freedom Elite (Brushless Motor) wheelchairs. 

Freedom Pro - Remote

• Behind the wheelchair on the motors, you can find levers. Please engage the brakes using the levers.
• Click the power button to power the joystick on.
• Press and hold the power button on the remote until it flashes green.
• Short press the recline (L-shaped) button on the remote once. The button will flash green.
• Press the up and down arrow buttons to recline.

Freedom Elite (Brushless) - Remote

• Behind the wheelchair on the motors, you can find levers. Please engage the brakes using the levers.
• Click the power button to power the joystick on.
• Press and hold the power button on the remote until it flashes green.
• Short press the B button on the remote once. The button will flash green.
• Press the up and down arrow buttons to recline.
