With your excellent service and help the powerchair was revealed in all it's glory! It is a very smart machine and I was eager to use it.
Here is the sad bit. Try as I might I just cannot properly control it. It is not the chair's fault, it is mine. I simply find it impossible to keep at any steady speed or in a straight line. My condition means i have frequent nervous spasms and the chair does not like me. Very sadly I need to return it.
I believe I need to inform you of this no later than next Tuesday (11th).
Your advice please, we are both in our eighties and registered disabled. When the chair was delivered the box was damaged on the base which makes me reluctant to put the powerchair back in.
Ðo we have to this (to fulfil your returns requrements, or is there an alternative that will fulfil your reqyirements?

The only thing stopping me currently from giving it 5* would be the weight.
Its not the easiest to take the motors on and off, and even with them off & the batteries out, still a hefty piece of gear, despite being called lightweight!
Yet to really see if it can do 15 miles fully charged and did end up paying extra for the rubber golf ball style joystick attachment.
But all in all we are pleased.
Its stylish.

Tales lumps, bumps and slopes extremely well.
The lights are better than my first car.
Again other than being the only person who can lift it for my wife, it's perfect.
Just a shame her PA isnt able to maneuver it.
Brilliant power chair. Very comfy, and can recline back. Leather seat and back rest. Motor wheels can be removed to make chair lighter for lifting, although for me too heavy so will get a hoist for my husband's car. Folds up small even with wheels on and fitted into my small Honda Jazz when rear seat was flipped up and easy to lift in. Very smooth ride. Spins round on it's own area making it great to manoeuvre in small rooms etc. Very easy controls - i opted to buy golf ball controller as I have bad arthritis. Very good on uneven surfaces. Moves pretty fast when you want it to. Very pleased. It will increase my mobility in rural Northumberland on footpaths and fields as well as in town. Thanks to Rahim at the Glasgow centre who felt that this model, rather than the one I had gone intending buying, would be perfect for me.
The wheelchair is very comfy, robust, steady and powerful on various terrain. The removable motors mean that it is easy to fold and lift into the car. This gives you a solid chair that can be transported easily. We are extremely happy with our purchase. It has given our son freedom and mobility.
The Chair itself was very good, unfortunately my wife struggled with the dismantling and lifting in the car boot and for this reason we have had to return it.
This is my 3rd indoor wheelchai and is more robust ,agility turning circle is great,smooth super silent. Motors. Can't fault it, great chair for me as a double amputee
I spent a long time choosing the chair and am extremely pleased with my choice. All the features are excellent - the ordering and customer service was excellent (the courier less so). There is only one thing I find awkward and that is the foot rest. Although its telescopic design is excellent and helpful because I am tall (6’4”) I find my knees are a little high. I have bought an extra cushion to sit on which should solve, or at least alleviate this one issue.
Pleased so far; only had the opportunity to use a few times up to now. Handles cobbles and uneven surfaces well, easy to fold down and get in/out of car, looks really smart and is comfortable for a day out. Manoeuvres well in tight spaces.
The only thing stopping me giving a 5 star rating is the position of the power switch. It could be better placed as I have accidentally knocked the power off when taking hold of the joystick. Improved slightly with the golf ball handle.

Wheelchair is great as long as you don`t have to remove the motors to lift it, this was not entirely clear when looking at the website when buying, i think you need to let customers know you are unable to lift the chair while motors are intact to the chair, this was something i wanted to allow flexibility when shopping or visiting restaurants etc but this aside it seems to work well and all other features are fine and easy to use
I find this wheelchair an excellent buy. It is truly multiple terrain capable, being strong, stable and comfortable. It has given me back freedoms that I feared had gone forever.
My wife and I can now have days-out and holidays again.
After removing the motor wheels and batteries (a straightforward process), the two of us can lift the chair in and out of the car boot without doing our backs in! It also folds to a smaller size than my old self-propelled chair did.
Some care needs to be taken when re-connecting the motor wheels (to align the arrows properly on the cables), and it takes some practice getting used to close control of the chair, especially on heavily cambered footpaths and rough terrain. Adding the golfball joystick topper makes this much easier.

The chair had paint damage, likely after being returned from another customer. The chair's motors are insufficient to confidently climb ramps or negotiate sloping sections of sidewalk without rolling onto the roadway unintentionally. The stated ride time on a single charge is inaccurate and significantly shorter. The chair's control sensitivity is too high, causing it to swerve and squirm with the slightest joystick movement. The holographic sticker on the bottom cover of the remote control peeled off on the first day, likely voiding the warranty. The chair's shock-absorbing features are more decorative than functional. The chair cannot move on uneven asphalt with small potholes or tree roots under the road surface and is dangerous for the owner.
absolutely great chair the wife loves it and she says its very comfortable just taking her a bit to get used to it but other than that she loves it. quite handy to get in and out of the car boot the way it folds and the ability to take the wheels and motors off is fantastic.
Feels much more robust than my last folding wheelchair. Love being able to recline it as this seems to take pressure off my hips. Many people have commented on how smart it looks and love the champagne colour!
The chair has a good seat space and comfortable. Good for indoor use as it fits through the doors. The joystick does hesitate at times and turning can be a tad difficult at times. Seems like turning one way (right) is better then the other. Out door, the camber on the pavements can take the chair off to the side and when there is a steep camber like a traffic light crossing the power does not allow the chair to move without some assistance. I find the speed a tad slow. The batteries do not seem as powerfull as presented. Would recommend for indoor us. Can be used out door but does not compare to my Sunrise Medical Q400.
Received my wheelchair it looks great unfortunately I have not been able to go and try it because we don't have any room in the house so I've had to order a garden shed so I can put it in and store it when not in use. I've infolded it every thing looks ok it powers up. As I've said will be able to get out on it when the shed arrives.

Great-looking chair, especially with the batteries being stored in the side bars. Excellent value - you get so much for your money. It's taking a bit of effort to learn to drive it as it's my first, but, compared to another more expensive brand I've tried, it has good manouverability and handles steeper slopes.
The staff at the store are great. Very patient and knowledgeable.
How do you charge the batteries when out of the chair, idea being you can leave the chair in the boot.
But need to charge the 2 overnight.
And the spare which I already have purchased.
Otherwise I will have to take 3 chargers with me on holiday to America.
Great wheelchair, easy to use. Love the removable batteries. Lightweight and folds neatly into my boot, even without removing the rear motors.
The salesperson at the Glasgow store was superb - very knowledgeable and completely pressure free.

Still getting used to driving style and joystick control. Less stability than mobility scooter so having to be less aggressive at dropped kerbs by coming up to them stopping and then going up.
The y20 is working very well and is very comfortable.
The only downside is the weight, its a bit misleading to call it lightweight as it takes 2 of us to lift it into the car.
We cannot work out how to remove the motors, perhaps a demonstration video would be handy.
It’s a good chair don’t get me wrong but it’s 35kg and we can’t get it in the car so doesn’t really do what we wanted. The wheels and motor do come off but it’s a bit too fiddly for us. Wish we had bought a lighter one ( combined weight) which I believe is about 5kg lighter but can’t really afford to hit 2. Company and its employees are very nice though.
The power chair is working fine now I've fitted the new Anti tip frame, took it for test run this morning, everything ok, thanks for all your help, I'm happy with it.
So far I love it. Feels sturdy, but very comfortable. It supports me to sit up straighter than my old chair so less pain. It is a smooth ride and the battery lasts well. Would recommend
Very comfortable. Easy to fold etc. However, there should be a crawl option on speed, as even slow is too fast to manoeuvre around delicate objects. Especially around cars or in cafes. Damage caused to these objects may make you liable for selling goods that are not properly controllable
ETech might just have the best customer service I’ve ever experienced anywhere! So if you’re considering one of their chairs then you at least don’t have to worry about that!
This chair is super comfortable for all day use, turns basically on the spot, easy to control speed at all speed settings, the adjustable footrest and backrest help with comfort, the lights are almost hilariously effective (as in I feel like I’m driving a combine)
You can switch off the motors for manual pushing (although it doesn’t have dedicated push handles so a bit uncomfortable to push for long and the anti tip wheels are a bit irritating for pushing)
You can fold in just seconds and then pull along behind you for getting on/off trains for example- although it is VERRY heavy so you wouldn’t want to do that for long.
For lifting into car, you can quickly and easily remove the heavy motors and the batteries so the frame itself is much lighter to lift.
You can turn all beeps off on the joystick if you hate the attention all the noise brings.
The remote control is a bit more skittish for control than the native joystick but stick very handy to have if you have joint issues so need to not have your arm fixed in place all day (or it rains) and is also handy for if you’re ambulatory and want to walk for a moment without pushing.
All round I am SUPER happy with this chair and the service from ETech. Fantastic all round.
