Is the Horizon 7 really suitable for rough ground?

Yes. Its 300W dual motors, 12-inch pneumatic rear-drive wheels and all-round suspension handle grass, gravel, ramps and uneven paths, climbing gradients up to 11° (20%). It is best on those surfaces rather than steep off-road terrain.

How does the twin-battery system work?

It ships with one 24V 12Ah battery and has a second slot ready for a spare. Fit a second battery to roughly double your range.

What range does it offer?

Up to around 15 miles per battery, so up to around 30 miles with two batteries fitted. Actual range varies with user weight, terrain and conditions.

What is the maximum user weight?

120 kg (19 stone).

How fast is it, and is it road-legal?

Up to 4 mph. It is a Class 2 powerchair, designed for pavement use and crossing roads.

Is the battery removable and airline-friendly, and how long does it take to charge?

Yes. The 24V battery is quick-release and cabin-friendly, and a full charge takes around 6 to 8 hours. Always check your airline's battery policy before flying.
