Freedom Pro & Elite Folding Powerchairs UK

Discover the complete range of Freedom Pro and Freedom Elite folding electric wheelchairs from Etech Mobility. Our flagship powerchairs are built for independence on the move: lightweight, genuinely foldable, and comfortable enough for all-day use at home, outdoors and away. Whether you want a simple lightweight folding wheelchair or a feature-rich automatic folding model, there is a Freedom Pro or Elite chair to match your lifestyle.

Freedom Pro vs Freedom Elite: which is right for you?

Both ranges share the same trusted lightweight folding frame, responsive 360-degree joystick control and travel-ready design. The difference is the motor. The Freedom Pro range uses dependable brushed motors that deliver strong everyday performance and excellent value, while the Freedom Elite range steps up to quieter, smoother and longer-lasting brushless motors for extra refinement and efficiency. Choose Freedom Pro for proven performance at a lower price, or Freedom Elite for the premium brushless upgrade.

Lightweight, foldable and travel-ready

Every Freedom Pro and Elite powerchair folds down in seconds, making it easy to lift into a car boot or take on flights, cruises and trains. If you have been searching for a lightweight electric wheelchair that does not compromise on strength, this range delivers an exceptional balance of portability and durability.

Manual or automatic folding

The range includes both manual-fold models and automatic folding electric wheelchairs that open and close at the touch of a remote. If effortless convenience matters most, the automatic folding Freedom Pro AF and Freedom Elite AF are among the easiest powerchairs to live with.

Comfort and reclining options

Need more support? Choose a reclining or wide-seat model. Reclining Freedom Elite variants let you adjust your seating position for comfort through the day, while wide-seat versions of the Pro and Elite offer extra room without adding bulk.

Multi-terrain confidence

With shock-absorbing rear wheels, puncture-resistant tyres and front wheels built for uneven ground, the Freedom Pro and Elite chairs handle pavements, parks and gentle paths with ease, making them a practical choice for anyone who wants an all-terrain electric wheelchair that still folds away neatly.

Powerful, responsive performance

Dual-motor power gives smooth acceleration and confident hill climbing, while the responsive 360-degree joystick keeps you in precise control indoors and out. Selected models add remote control so a companion or carer can assist with positioning when needed.

Long-lasting, removable battery

Freedom Pro and Elite powerchairs run on a removable 24V lithium battery that lifts out for easy charging. A dual-slot design lets you carry a spare and extend your range for longer days out, errands and social trips.

Make it yours

Prefer something with personality? The Freedom Pro ST is available in a range of limited-edition colours, including pink, purple, yellow, lime green and racing green, so you can match your chair to your style without giving up any of the performance.
