Breathability You Can Feel

The biggest upgrade isn't just how this leather looks — it's how it breathes. Traditional upholstery traps heat and moisture against you, but ours is engineered to let air move freely and wick moisture away from the surface. The result is a seat that stays cool and dry, even on warm days and long journeys.

Two-Tone Faux Leather, Tailored Finish

Crafted from a two-tone faux leather with precise contrast stitching, this upholstery brings a genuinely premium, tailored look to your wheelchair. It's the kind of detailing you'd expect from a luxury car interior — now on your everyday chair.

Car-Seat Comfort

We designed this leather to replicate the feel of a modern car seat — soft, cushioned and supportive. It cradles you comfortably and helps take the pressure out of longer trips, so sitting in your chair feels less like a necessity and more like a pleasure.

In more detail...

Our Breathable Leather Upholstery Set is the premium comfort upgrade for Freedom Pro, Freedom Elite and Horizon 7 electric wheelchair users who want their chair to feel as good as it looks. Every element has been redesigned around a single goal: keeping you comfortable, cool and supported no matter how long you spend in the seat.

At the heart of this set is a genuinely breathable faux leather. Standard wheelchair upholstery tends to trap body heat and moisture, which quickly becomes uncomfortable on warm days or during extended use. Our faux leather is engineered to breathe — allowing air to circulate and actively wicking moisture away from the surface — so the seat stays fresh, dry and comfortable hour after hour. Breathability is the standout benefit of this upholstery, and it's the reason it feels so different the moment you sit down.

Comfort goes beyond temperature. The leather has been developed to replicate the plush, cradling feel of a modern car seat, with a soft yet supportive surface that reduces pressure and helps you settle in for the journey ahead. The two-tone styling and contrast stitching give the set a tailored, high-end appearance that instantly elevates the look of your wheelchair.

The set is supplied as a fully coordinated package — a seat cushion and backrest — so every touchpoint on your chair shares the same premium finish. Choose from four colours: classic Black, cool Blue, warm Beige or rich Green, allowing you to match your chair to your personal style.

Designed specifically for the Freedom Pro ST, Freedom Pro AF, Freedom Elite ST, Freedom Elite AF and Horizon 7 electric wheelchairs, the upholstery fits neatly and securely, and the wipe-clean surface makes everyday maintenance simple. Please note this set is not compatible with reclining models, including the Freedom Elite AR and Freedom Elite AFMR.

At a glance:

Breathable leather that regulates temperature and keeps you cool
Water-wicking surface that draws moisture away for a dry, fresh seat
Car-seat-inspired comfort with soft, supportive padding
Two-tone finish with contrast stitching for a premium look
Complete set: seat cushion, backrest and matching handlebar cover
Four colours: Black, Blue, Beige and Green
Tailored fit for Freedom Pro ST/AF, Freedom Elite ST/AF and Horizon 7 — excludes the reclining Freedom Elite AR and AFMR
Easy-clean, wipe-down leather surface

Customer Reviews

Overall rating: 5.0 / 5 from 3 reviews.

I couldn't believe that I could get a purple wheelchair. But here it stands in my front garden, I went out on it yesterday and found the controls a bit skittish so I will try again next week. I hope to use it all the time soon because of my back. It's well made, love the wheels and the back of the seat hightens which is nice also.
