Control Your Electric Wheelchair Remotely

Designed to make assisted mobility easier, the Etech Mobility Electric Wheelchair Remote Control allows a carer, family member or companion to control a compatible wheelchair without needing to use the joystick mounted on the chair.

The simple handheld design provides control over the wheelchair's movement and power settings, making it particularly useful when guiding the chair through tighter spaces, positioning it for transfers or assisting the user while out and about.

Simple Toggle Control

Use the integrated toggle to control the direction and movement of the wheelchair remotely. Move forwards, backwards and steer from side to side using the handheld controller.

The remote also allows you to adjust the wheelchair's power setting, giving you greater control over its response and speed while manoeuvring.

Different Functions for Different Models

The functions available on the remote depend on the electric wheelchair it is paired with.

Standard Remote Functions

The standard remote provides:

• Forward and reverse movement
• Left and right steering
• Adjustable power settings

These basic remote functions are available on:

• Freedom Pro ST
• Freedom Elite ST
• Horizon 7

Automatic Folding Models

On compatible automatic-folding wheelchairs, the remote also allows the powered folding mechanism to be operated remotely.

This function is available on:

• Freedom Pro AF
• Freedom Elite AF
• Freedom Elite AFMR

This makes folding the wheelchair for storage or transport even more convenient.

Please note: The Freedom Elite AFMR features manual reclining. The remote controls the automatic folding function but does not control the reclining backrest.

Remote Reclining – Freedom Elite AR

When paired with the Freedom Elite AR, the remote can also control the wheelchair's powered reclining function.

This allows the backrest angle to be adjusted remotely, alongside the standard driving and power controls.

Remote functions vary depending on the wheelchair model. Please check your wheelchair model and the functions listed above before ordering.

This remote is not designed for use with other Etech Mobility electric wheelchairs or third-party powerchairs.
