I love my powerchair! I’m an ambulatory wheelchair user, so I mainly use it for day trips that will include lots of walking or standing. I purposefully wanted one that could handle mixed terrains and so far I haven’t been disappointed - I’ve been on grass, gravel, bark footpaths, all sorts, and it’s been great! The chair is incredibly comfortable and easy to control. The remote control is also great for my partner to use when my condition means I struggle with cognitive abilities - he can control my chair without me needing to worry and without him having to physically push me. I’m so glad I invested in this chair, it’s made the world of difference for me. The team were so helpful when I went to buy it, letting me test the different models and find the perfect chair for me. 10/10 would recommend this company and chair!

My freedom pro chair has given me my freedom back! It tackles kerbs and pavements lumps and bumps perfectly even climbing up to 1cm steps/pavements with ease. It works on grass and trails perfectly. Even works on semi loose gravel driveways!! Ideal for days out with family. Colour is fab. My only gripe is that it doesn’t come with a raincover for for joystick control and they don’t sell covers for the chair when it’s not folded (one I got off Amazon was huge for it!!!). Also could do with a drinks holder that slots into joystick control holder on other arm (off the front not side so it doesn’t impact on squeezing through narrow doorways!) Amazing customer service too. Thank you

We were.... sorry I was investigating a mobility powerchair for my arthritic wife. Settled on the Freedom st.
She had apprehension on her being able and confident to use.
Well it's been a week from purchase, we did purchase an extra 12ah battery to allow longer between charging & giving.the range on hills that we had experience with today.
We have used the chair through this week ....getting used to it in a couple of shops, hospital visit, park with the dogs 2 mile across grass walk & today Swanage town carnival 4 miles uphill down hill cobbled pavement and a grassed arena I am impressed with the chairs sturdiness ease of use and battery charge, so far only just dropped to 60%.
I'm still getting used to the collapse for in out of car, it's easy just a knackered....I'll get it.
To summarise it seems a quality powerchair & it's going where ever we want no problems.
My wife has commented on the comfort for 6 hours today.
We did add a cold bag to the rear for cold water and such necessities....no agro's.
I praise it to say if your in this market I recommend it.
My wife is gaining confidence & best of all her freedom back.

I had it a couple of weeks now , been over grass up and down cambers and curbs, really comfortable , getting used to joystick now ,took on bus yesterday did it bit fiddly but that's on bus company , also I ran of battery that was fun 😊 now I need the bigger battery so can travel longer then no stopping me . overall I'm very happy still love my scooter she makes shopping travels fun , but where I can travel on bus and trains no worries with my chair Betsy , one thing though I wish the horn was a lot louder with people looking at there phones the dont see or hear you so louder the better

I bought this for my best friend and housemate as she has severe fibromyalgia and her mobility is very limited. She needed an electric alternative as she has pain in her hands and can no longer propel herself with her manual wheelchair.
Her wheelchair unfortunately came minus a manual, which was initially frustrating but Etech were brilliant and sent out a manual to us that arrived next day. They also couldn't apologise enough for the oversight. However, we managed to figure out how to work it after trial and error the first night.
She's never driven anything before, not even a fairground dodgem, but she's slowly getting used to it now. She still has some nerves about using it but is becoming more and more confident every day. The attached video shows how much she loves this purchase.
I'm really pleased she can now finally get around, and so is she. And thank you to Etech for being incredibly professional and efficient in dealing with my frustration - they more than made up for it with their excellent customer service.

I love my wheelchair it has given me so much freedom I can take my boy out without any issues easy to control! We struggle pushing and lifting it into the car it takes 2 but its a little heavier than I was hoping I cant so it myself and I cannot afford anything to help me get it in and out yet. But I have tested it all on ground types and it has been wonderful works everywhere love it! So comfy its given our family a new lease of life not having to worry about me being in pain or legs giving way.

this chair is going to change my life, I can already tell. I’m in my early thirties and I’m losing my mobility. I have customised her appearance a lil to make her feel more “me” but the functions of this chair are amazing. We’ve gone to a gravel beach , uneven paving, shopping. I’m so happy! Next up we’re taking her to Florida! The controls are so easy to get used to, the speeds are fantastic and navigating dropped kerbs is super simple with the guide provided. Battery life seems ok? Have been out in it 4 times and had to charge today as it hit 20%, time will tell!

If you are travelling with the chair then I would recommend a second battery to ensure you have enough to get you around.
An improvement would be to put something in front the seat cushion when using the Velcro to strap it down folded. My seat is now looking a bit tatty after only 2 weeks with folding it.

After exhaustive research I decided to purchase the E-Tech lightweight Freedom Pro ST. I have only managed one practice session so far but am quietly confident that I will master the wheelchair especially the joy stick, which will take a bit of getting used to.
I find the chair extremely comfortable, especially the telescopic foot rest which allows me to stretch my knees rather than having them bent which was very uncomfortable. This was a deciding factor when making my choice.
Customer service has also been excellent, All in all I have made a good choice and would thoroughly recommend.

This chair has changed my life completely! I have so much independence now! I have a progressive lung condition and use oxygen. I used to love walking but that was no longer an option for me anymore due to my illness. Since I got my new chair there is literally no stopping me, and my beautiful four legged best friend! We are now back out and about together having so much fun!! I have my freedom back now, no longer having to rely on husband to push me in a manual chair and that's doing wonders for my mental state! Before I got my chair everything felt like a drag and I couldn't do it, but now I can go anywhere I want, whenever I want. I've been using the chair now for over a month without any issues at all. The speed settings are perfect, I keep the speed on one or two when attending doctors/hospital appointments and whack it up full when we're out having fun! It's so comfortable, and it looks pretty smart too! The little storage pockets on the arms are a bit tight so they're now much use, maybe a fabric with some stretch in it would be better. Other than that it's perfect! My only regret is I didn't buy it sooner.

Where to start. I LOVE this chair! It has given me a newfound sense of freedom. I can confidently go out in it with zero problems. I’m a more (shall we say) cuddly user than most and it lasted for a full 11 miles before it needed to be charged. I did buy an extra battery at the time of ordering my chair and I’m so pleased I did. In the video I am on a relatively smooth surface and even though I did come across some previously unsuitable ground this chair managed without issue. I really put the chair through its paces on every journey I went on. Hills were no issue, driving backwards it went in a straight line and although I could hear the motor it wasn’t annoying. I did also very much appreciate the mute button. My previous chair didn’t have that and would beep loudly like a wide load lorry if I dared reverse in it. All in all it’s a steal at the price you’re selling it at. Any other chair for my weight cost thousands so I’m really grateful to find this one. It’s given me a confidence I haven’t had in a long time. THANK YOU 🙂

Before making my purchase, I did a lot of research and decided on the Freedom Pro (ST). Once unboxed I found I had to prize the chair open causing me added pain in my back and left hip, unlike the video demonstration!
On attempting to fit the Under Seat Bag, I found that due to the batteries taking up all the space, there isn't room for the bag. Furthermore, due to the design of the chair, there isn't anywhere to attach it to.
I folded the chair and stood it up into its storage position then noticed that one of the Anti-tip Wheels looked out of line, on closer inspection I found it is bent causing the chair to be unstable in the storage position.
I do feel that I have been sent a faulty product and false advertising was used causing me to make a bad decision.
I know I am well within my rights to return the chair but I will probably save myself money by getting my local Disability shop to correct the faults.
The really annoying thing is, I do actually like the chair but wonder if it's going to fold up on me while in use!
Will I purchase (anything) from ETECH in the future? I very much doubt it!

Very sturdy and stylish looking, only had it out twice (very nervous wife, but she’s gaining confidence each outing) not been faster than number two yet, but that’s fast enough with me walking behind. Because it’s very sturdy, it’s a bit heavy for me to lift into my car, not so bad if I remove the batteries before attempting. Thankfully it JUST fits in my C Class Mercedes’ boot. Phew!!!
