A really great foldable powerchair, it feels sturdy, and is very responsive and easy to use. It's got good suspension too and handles rougher pavements well. The battery life is solid, even when using at top speed, and the colour options and seats are really lovely. I'm so pleased with this purchase and had help from the showroom staff on using the chair to navigate chambers and higher kerb sides.
This Chair is a little higher than others for me it allows a better shopping experience for reaching items on the shelves . Great the batteries being on the side as once folded is flatter for access in the car . I put the brakes on lift into car & let the big wheel take the ease of movement in. I love the extra extension on foot plate also the lever to ease the back for a comfortable position that suits you . ENJOY
Fantastic chair, very comfortable, easy to use and set up. Only issue I'd say I have is because I'm short (5'3) I can't have my feet flat on the foot rest, I need to figure out a way to lift the foot rest slightly to have my feet more comfortable. Other than that, moves with ease, batteries last and easy to charge. Also being shorter I have to hop up onto the chair as it's higher than the normal manual chairs.
The chair is great but there was an initial problem with it not taking a charge. Replacement batteries and a battery charger were sent and the problem was with the charger. I have now used the chair twice and it is excellent.

After breaking my tibia and fibula in July 2024, I’ve had to undergo numerous infections and four operations. As a result, I now require a wheelchair for both work and leisure. After extensive research, I decided to purchase this power chair, and I’m very pleased with it.
My wife loves it. It gives her mobility and confidence when out. Smooth movement and packs away nicely in the boot. Haven't yested its full potential yet, battery charge length etc but so far its positive.
Chair arrived few days ago, boxed very securely. Upon inspection there was a few scratches on it, but not too bad. Have informed ETech and was given a small shop credit. Now chair itself is very stable and sturdy, comfortable. I’m 5’6” and my feet don’t reach the floor, but I prefer that. The extendable footplate is what sold me this chair and it makes my leg pain less pain, if that makes sense lol. The two side batteries are a game changer, although I feel a little bit too long, but I can live with that. Controls are very easy to use. I’ve only used it twice so far as I have to have someone to get it out the car for me because it is heavy too lift, but it’s all good. The price of these chairs are a lot, lot less than other companies and are so worth it. Overhaul, great power chair, oh yeah, looks pretty cool too, I feel the photos don’t do them justice. Excellent product. This is not a light weight chair. Takes 2 to unfold fold and lift into the boot of a car. But excellent ride and easy to use
Bought this as travelling to Australia and needed a device that could go into a plane hold and be able to remove the batteries and fold easily, also for whilst there easy to load into a car, the Voyager 185 gives me all of this whilst catering for my body size it folds really easily and the betteries are so easy to install and remove which is going to make it nice and simple for travel, I have only used it briefly so far but is comfortable and easy to control the joystick is very responsive the control panel is very self explanatory Very happy so far
haven’t had it long but so far it seems great and the reclining seat is a really helpful addition.

I live everything about this chair! Very comfortable and easy to use and incredibly impressed by the different terrains im able to go over, it even survived a slightly slushy field in scotland!
My wheelchair is very comfortable and the sidebars for the batteries is excellent. I don’t find the chair as responsive as my previous chair hence not giving it a 5 star review.
Website was very helpful . Lots of choice lots of information and all my questions answered. My chair was delivered very next day . We had a small problem with the charger and a new one was delivered . Everyone we spoke to was helpful polite and very knowledgeable. Would highly recommend and my first electric chair is a game changer . Extremely happy excellent service

I'm an ambulant wheelchair user, needed more for days out or if I'm having a bad day. So far I've found this chair amazing, its comfortable and easy to use. Customer service was brilliant in helping me decide what chair I needed. Delivered very quickly too.
Purchased online it was very straightforward and very quick Until it came to delivery 🚚 then the service plummeted apparently my address wasn’t correct but after checking it was correct and it was the delivery driver who messed up !! Staff at Etech were VERY helpful and on the ball. Thank you
Have only used once so far, want to give myself time to get used to the controls. Love the colour and how sturdy the whole thing is.
I have only had it a week so it's early days yet. One slight criticism: the user manual makes no mention of the remote control and I have yet to try it. It is very quiet and comfortable and the twin batteries should last a long time. The storage bag under the seat is handy.

Moves well on the whole but pavements near roads are a bit hard to maneuver when there's a camber as u veer into the road automatically and its very hard to steer it away. Its a comfortable ride and fits nicely in the boot of the car. Its a bit heavy to lift but it really helps me get out and about more
Daughter loves new wheelchair and feels more comfortable than what she had before. It’s easy to collapse it if need be and batteries so easy to charge, can be charged while in chair or out as they are part of chair they don’t look out of place. You can silent the sound if need be as daughters epilepsy any bleeping knocks her out for min so vans or trucks that have reversing alarms she gets knock out for min. Contacted support and they told me how to put on silent when reversing so no bleeping and were very helpful and much appreciated.
A very positive experience all round. I went to the showroom in Glasgow to test various different chairs and the member of staff was really helpful, full of useful tips, and happy to answer all of my daft questions. Taking the time to go and see the chairs in person gave me more confidence with choosing the right one to buy; in fact, I changed my mind from the one I thought would be best from researching online. I ordered on a Monday afternoon and the chair was with me on Wednesday morning. The only minor gripe is that the order tracking wasn't particularly useful, so I didn't know it was going to arrive when it did. I'm delighted with my new chair (Ventura 185) which has given me much more independence. It's already tackled cobbled streets, relatively steep inclines, gravel tracks and even footpaths. I have ME and the chair allows me to travel distances which would otherwise have required a car, and even better it allows me to explore the countryside again, something I have been really missing.
I ordered the Voyager 185 wheelchair, having returned a similar chair from another manufacturer, which got me stuck at the bottom of a camber repeatedly and they couldn't find a fault (when you have to do 3 right turns instead of a left, SOMETHING is wrong)! Anyway, we took my new Etech Voyager out for it's first spin, and I am so impressed! The camber still runs away with you a bit, but with this chair I can steer out of it without my husband having to disengage the motor and push me out! We've taken it out in a few scenarios now, and I wish I'd gone with this one the first time. Thank you. I feel like I now have my independence back and I can get out to places I haven't been able to go in a long time.

Assembly reasonably straightforward. Much heavier than expected as it describes itself as ‘lightweight’! My wife is unable to lift it into the boot of the car! Drives nicely and is comfortable.
Love it it's given me more freedom
I needed a chair that was both electric and would go in the car. This chair fits the bill to the letter. It folds easily after toggling the locking switch, then it is a tad heavy for my wife to lift (I have prosthetic legs and no balance, so it is up to her, my hero!) so I bought the scissor lift and the pair go together like fish and chips! Chair folded, release the gears so it will roll onto the lift, strap it on and up it goes, level with the boot, a simple push and it is in. The lift lives in the car now, then it is ready when we need it.
While there was a delay in delivery due to stock levels, we were kept informed every step of the way, and the estimated delivery date was spot on. We are still getting to know the chair, it is great. It fits through standard doors and has no difficulty moving over everything we have used it on upto yet. Highly recommend it.
A bit of a niggle as first ,but customer service second to none and rectified asap, And the chair is great, can't wait to go out in more favourable weather
I havent been out in my new voyager 185 as the weather has been terrible but it looks amazing and I love the torch on it as my old chair didn't have that. I'm looking forward to getting out showing off the vibrant purple 💜
