Store visit and try out first. Helped decide on leg extensions and leather upholstery as wipe clean. It has changed my experience of outdoor travel. When to local theatre and for first time my wife wasnt struggling to push me to my seat and out again. A bit heavy to lift in car but got a set of ramps and chair powers itself into car.

I can’t lift the chair in and out of the car, so I bought these ramps from Amazon. The chair will drive itself up and down the ramp. Once in the car it automatically folds up. Switch the chair off and release the clutch on both motors then you can push it further in. Fold the ramps and close the hatch. Less than 5 minutes.

From start to finish my Etech experience was incredible! We turned up to the Birmingham show room not knowing you had to book first. Whoops! Not to worry, the staff helped us without any fuss! I knew what I wanted before coming down, I just needed to try it out to make sure I was comfortable in the chair and I could easily manoeuvre it. I was given plenty of time to try out the power chair on a variety of surfaces/climbs. This gave me the confidence to know that the chair could handle everything I needed it to for the duration I needed. Once I was happy I had picked the right chair for me, the person I was being helped by said that I was in luck and they literally have a delivery going on round the corner at their depot, so if I'd like to pick it up there and then, I can do. It was an obvious yes! So I'm now the proud owner of an Etech power chair! Since getting it, I have put it through its paces and it has easily handled everything I'd thrown at it, from kerbs to woodland and tight supermarket aisles! My partner finds he can lift it into the car easily and it takes up much less space than my mobility scooter. We also love the fact it comes with a maintenance kit so we can (hopefully) keep it going for many years to come!

Once you get used to how it manoeuvres it's great. I'm hoping to get further afield once the bigger batteries I ordered are back in stock and delivery organised as promised. It is very comfortable plenty of room for me as I'm 6foot tall it's quite smooth running handles semi rough ground well. Not mega heavy so far am very happy with it

Having got the Elite AFMR up & running, the wheelchair has already proved its versatility when I took my wife for hospital X-ray appointment. Heavier than I appreciated, it necessitated ramps to get into my SUV, but I quickly found the best approach. Only had the wheelchair for a week but wouldn’t be without it now. My wife has quickly been able to get use to the joystick control and the remote is very much appreciated when folding ( as the supplied operating manual fold/unfold joystick instructions were completely opposite to actual operation). Google & AI often rescued us.

I must confess, its a lot better than I thought it would be. All terrain? Definitely. Stylish? Yes. All what you would need? Yes. Best I found for all your needs. Folds and unfolds perfectly. Very comfortable, and easy to use. The only thing I have wich is not a huge problem. It is a little heavy for one person to lift into the boot of your car. The way round this is to perches a set of ramps. I already had a set, but they are cheap enough.

On the chair it looks like you can do the control through a phone not sure there is a sticker saying that that it could do it and also that the tick wheels at the back if they would turn 90° that would be a much better idea for getting it down, narrow narrow Paths and through doors even pushing a set of casters on would be an improvement but all in all very very happy

Amazing powerchair it has changed my life. The price is fantastic, you can buy extra batteries, lovely modern coloured leather seat and back cushion cover. I can now stay in my chair in cinema, I can recline it for comfort. I can stay in chair in restaurant just slide right up to the table. Go for walks with husband and dogs.

I have the Freedom Elite AFMR and I'm over the moon with it. The price was the winning factor for me compared to other companies, the wheelchair is a bit on the heavy side for me and my wife, so I bought ramps to get it in/out of the car, but we are both 60 and disabled so I expected I would need ramps, I bought an extra battery too just for peace of mind. I have purchased an Orthopaedic Pressure Relief Memory Foam Seat Pad, as I suffer from chronic back problems. This wheelchair is well worth 5 stars. The staff at Etech earn 5 stars too as they are brilliant. I'm a happy bunny
