The battery takes a while to fully charge and holds the charge very well giving the milage it is stated to give. End of last August 2025 my chair arrived we charged it up and it has been used almost every day. The batteries almost a year old now still works fabulous like it did when the chair arrived.
This extra battery has give me confidence to go much further on my wheelchair ,i don't have to worry. Its very easy to fit and release .Ive just flown to Tunisia and the batteries comply with airline regulations

Thankyou for the wheelchair for my husband to use on longer walking trips and holidays he is very happy with it and it will make his life so much easier, having the two batteries now will give him that bit more freedom. It is a very sturdy chair and also very comfortable with ease of use fantastic company many thanks.

I thought having the 2 battery packs would give me more confidence for longer trips, so bought a spare one. Delivered really fast. You can just see the two packs under the seat in this pic. Really pleased with my purchase and the helpful service from etechmobility.
Power is not a problem, batteries last me many visits to the shops
As a spare battery it gives you the opportunity to go that extra mile or two with the confidence you can get home
Love the chair, sturdy and good looking, but because of that becomes difficult for a 78yo to lift into the saloon car’s boot, very heavy, but worth it!!!

Bought this battery as an additional battery for my wheelchair charges easy. Easy to slide onto the wheelchair and to use
Perfect addition for my wife’s wheelchair. With the extra battery she can go so much farther and we can enjoy more time out together.
Once i realised that i did not need further wiring bought battery, fitted battery no problem. Might benefit from a 3A charger for speed but not really necessary.
Order was shipped quickly Fedex tracking was not very granular & changed from between 8-12 to before 1800 with no other detial on the update. This pretty much glued me to the house all day day awaiting the delivery
Its a battery 🔋 I needed to get another one as they seem to drain away quite quickly. Plus I can't realy say I travel that far. I literally get taken out in the car and drive around sainsburys etc. But I wanted to be able to go to the park whilst my Daughter walked and thought it best to get another. Because as the battery drains so does the power intensity. It doesn't stay consistent till its dead. I dont know if that's the norm But this is what ive found. Happy I got another one albeit £200 , I found it to be expensive.

I’ve used my Freedom pro chair increasingly more. I purchased the extra battery to give me more confidence about the range. I enquired about which one was suitable and Etech responded quickly to confirm which one, with a link directly to it. If possible I would suggest buying an extra battery when you buy your chair, as you’ll be surprised how much you will use it. Excellent service as usual.

My etech lightweight wheelchair has given me freedom. I have added an extra battery as a back up. I've never used a whole battery in one day so it is just an extra.
