I purchased the Wide-Seat Automatic Folding Electric Powerchair | Freedom Pro AF and I honestly couldn’t be happier with it. Before making the order online, I called the Birmingham store to ask questions about seat hight from the ground (51cm), same as standard wheelchairs. Also asked about the feet rest as I am unable to bend my legs and I was worried they would not fit onto the foot rest properly, though no issues at all as they extend really far. I placed my order on Wednesday night and it was delivered free of charge by Friday, which was incredibly quick and a great start to the whole experience. I’ve already used the chair a couple of times and I can confidently say it’s been a complete game changer for me. It’s extremely easy to use, feels smooth and stable on paths, and handles low kerbs surprisingly well going both up and down. The ride itself is very comfortable, and the chair is impressively quiet — you barely notice the wheels being powered. I decided to add a second battery and the cable to run both batteries at the same time, and it arrived already set up and ready to go, which was perfect. It’s great knowing I have the extra range without needing to swap batteries. One of my favourite features is the automatic folding function. It’s incredibly smooth and simple to use, whether using the control on the chair itself or the remote controller that comes with it. It makes storing and transporting the chair so much easier. Overall, I’m extremely happy with both products. They’ve already made such a positive difference and given me a lot more independence and freedom. I would highly recommend both to anyone looking for a reliable and easy-to-use mobility solution.

I love my chair it's changed my life
We spent a lot of time researching the best wheelchair to meet my partner's need. This was the best option for him due to his deteriorating health. The wheelchair is strong, way to use and has the automatic folding option. It is heavy to get in and out of the car boot however we purchased the extending ramps as well and have found this works great and non issues. The quality of the wheelchair is excellent, with a range of colours and extras also available. Would highly recommend this wheelchair to others. Etech Mobility were also great in the customer service and ease of purchase. Delivery was next day and the wheelchair came well packaged and no damage.

A superbly built wheelchair that’s powerful in getting around. It just takes everything in its step. And I can’t argue with it’s price, talk about value for money as well you don’t find that often there days
The wheelchair is absolutely fantastic and so worth it’s weight in gold. This will make an absolutely massive difference to my quality of life when I finally get back home and have a car again

Drives and looks great the only catch is bit in the heavy side specially when putting in the car boot

A great powerchair
I've been using a mobility scooter , this is taking me a while to get used to . Steering is very sensitive but I'm sure I will master it

Easy to set up and start to practice. Would advise to use it on lower speed so you can get use to how quickly it will go. Slower the speed the more control you have
Only had a week using it in doors at the moment, Just getting used to the controls.I love it,cant wait to get outside with the chair.
Ive not had a chance to use the electric wheelchair but will do tomorrow, will see how it goes tomorrow. Trying to get the wheelchair in & out the car is a bit difficult for my husband so we'll have to look for ramps.

i have a very positive experience with this company . I had an issue with delivery that I was not happy with but Etech sorted it out rapidly. I have worked in consumer rights for a number of years and thought I would have to fight like crazy to get this resolved, I could not have been more wrong. Excellent company , excellent team and excellent ( and reasonalbly priced ) chairs. Love my chair.
I don’t feel very confident at the moment I’m struggling
I’ve been without an electric wheelchair since lockdown and have been relying on support in a self propelled wheelchair for around 5 years. While I’m still learning all about my etech freedom pro and all its amazing features im absolutely blown away with the things I’ve learnt so far and the independence it’s already given me. I’ve been able to take my dog for walks which is something I’ve missed dearly as a young woman. I’ve been able to look around shops independently without needing to take regular and often long breaks. The pavements and dropped curbs in my area are not great and my freedom pro has managed them no problem at all, we’ve gone on a field and had no issues. I really am so very happy with my new found freedom and I just can’t wait to keep being able to explore now I have the feeling of movement without getting so fatigued in pain or worry of dislocation.

A lot heavier than expected but so far very satisfied with the chair.very easy to set up and use with very easy to follow instructions
It's taking a while to get used to the steering, we may get the golf ball addition. To see if it's better. Very pleased with folding mechanism but it was too heavy to lift so we purchased the 6' ramps. Looking forward to going out soon.
Idea for shops can’t wait to take abroad

Just had the 6ft ramps delivered and some of the blue plastic corners admins button push parts are broke and one of the ramps is very hard to pull out not sure if it’s bent slightly.
It's great , although id say its gold not champagne Im planning to buy a second battery and the leather seat cover / joystick cover. It can take a few attempts to get used to the joystick, don't give up you will get used to it . Think about your house ,front door garden etc before purchasing as you may need to get a ramp at the same time. The main reason to buy from this company is the customer services , Amir and Shabaz were amazing, so reassuring and patient . 😀
Absolutly brilliant chair. I orderd it on the sunday night and it arived well packaged on the following tuesday morning. Excellent service. The chair is comfortable and the joystick is very sensitive. My advise would be to put the chair in the lowest speed until you're more confident in using the joystick. Practice in a safe environment with plenty of room so you can get used to the workings of the chair. It won't take you long to get to grips with it. Have fun and many safe outings in your chair.
The chair has increased my mobility & enabled me to leave the house more.
